MedicFile is an online personal medical history database. Members can create an account and privately post their medical history, prescription details, allergies, and more. Users also receive a physical ID card to keep on them at all times; in the event of an emergency, a healthcare provider can use the ID card to quickly access the user’s medical information. This helps doctors and nurses make more informed decisions when treating patients who may be incapacitated.

MedicFile already had an existing data system, but wanted a new design to promote their service and help members use the site.

The final site includes a prominent login area for healthcare providers who may be accessing a patient’s records, a new signup system to register new users, and a professional layout and color scheme.

The site was designed to allow immediate login for any physician, promote the service to potential users, and allow for easy signup using PayPal.
