ADE Data Center
April 2009 | http://adedata.arkansas.gov/
The Arkansas Department of Education is required to make certain data available to the general public. They needed a website to display this data, and to make it as easy to use as possible.
The site needed to securely gather and present information on a wide range of subjects collected over 10 years and stored in varying databases.
The final site was built on a standardized database framework and several custom-designed data display containers, making new data easy to add. Past records were adapted to the new system, and a simple icon-based user interface was designed to help users navigate the site. Search, sort, and bookmark functions were added to complete the site.
Services provided: website design, ASP.NET development, MySQL development
